MABEC member Re4ormed Organics had quite a week for their growing biogas business while connecting with fellow veteran entrepreneurs at the Military Influencer Conference in Orlando, Florida. The trip to Orlando was one of the rewards, in addition to a small cash prize for being a top finalist in StreetShares’ food and beverage entrepreneurship contest for veteran owned small businesses. That contest ended last month. The other notable reward was getting to compete in a pitch contest at the Military Influencer Conference. Not surprisingly, Re4ormed Organics won that contest too! It was the StreetShares Veteran Small Business Award’s pitch contest, which earned them another $15,000 to build their “closet-sized” test anaerobic digesters and a year of mentoring from Samuel Adams (Boston Beer Company) founder Jim Koch and team.
Thanks to all of you who answered our call at the end of the summer to support the business of this up and coming MABEC member. And congratulations to Mark Mhley and the whole Re4ormed Organics team!
